Welcome, everyone, to where we are putting together solutions for those add math topics that we are getting problems with today.
We will be looking at the exam structure, the grades, the profiles, and the format of what is commonly referred to as C.X.C. Add Math.
This channel's purpose is to help students in the areas of CSEC Additional Mathematics who are having problems.
The format, weightings, and grades are explained for this subject as well as a brief overview of the topics to be covered.

C.X.C. is the Caribbean Examination Council, which is an umbrella organization in charge of the different assessments held at various levels for Caribbean students from primary to secondary school. As one enters school life, he enters the primary school system whereupon his leaving, he writes the common entrance or the S.E.A. Secondary Entrance Assessment, or the C.P.E.A. the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment. It varies depending on the particular Caribbean country. But all three of them fall under the ruling of the C.X.C.
As we enter secondary school, our assessment at the end of five years is known as C.S.E.C. Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate.
For those who pursue further, they go on to the advanced levels, which is Unit one and unit two. Or in some territories, it is known as sixth form, where they will be writing the C.A.P.E. examination, the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination.
CXC now offers more than 30 different subjects at this CSEC level. With that number growing according to the needs of the Caribbean people, presently there are more than 25 of those subjects at the general...

The major difference between the old syllabus and the new is the sub-topic Functions has been removed. Paper 1 is worth 45 marks, which is equivalent to 30 percent of the final grade, and Paper 2 is worth 100 marks, which is equivalent to 50 percent of the final grade.
