Thank you helping home owners like me who are struggling make decisions in Hurricane zone. Which shingle you recommend in severe weathers of southern states with severe hurricanes. If it is duration then do you recommend Titanium PSU-30 or Rhino Granulated G peel and stick .
Which is the best pipe boots and goose neck?
How to know soffit ventilation is adequate at every 5 feet per code. Or should we increase soffit ventilation.
Do you recommend wearly birds or off ridge as I have a very small ridge.
How to control heat in the attick.
How to get leak protection warranty.
Does the workmanship warranty of 25 years cover leaks and excessive granule loss?
Does the steel ring shanks worth the money?
Which is the best peel and stick and can we put entire deck?
Thank you for helping.

Eh, not sure how helpful that was. Hopefully the consult with the contract details provide better input. Proper attic ventilation needs to be calculated. Also, gable vents interfere with the air flow from the soffit vents to the ridge vents. There is a science to it. Generally, many recommend for the gable to be closed off in such a scenario. The type (manufacturer) of vent at the ridge is further important as they are not all the same in the way they are designed and how they promote ventilation and prevent water intrusion. As for underlayment, a peel and stick ice and water for the entire roof appears to be popular in Florida. However, something to consider is whether it is a high temperature variety and whether the shingles will meld to it as it also sticks permanently to the deck making future repairs difficult and reshingling requiring the replacement of the plywood. Something I've heard suggested was use of a second underlayment over the peel and stick that will then make future shingle repairs easier to deal with. Finally, a product that should also be considered is waterproof tape product to seal the seams of the entire decking. That would prevent water leaking in through the seams, which is the most damaging, in the event of a tear off, particularly without the peel and stick. Finally, best practice at the eave drip edge to prevent rot is always contentious. Belt and suspenders approach would probably include a layer below the drip edge covering part of the subfascia as well as a layer above sealing atop the drip edge.
