I M35 been no contact with my younger brother for years because of major issues we had in the past. I couldn't go to college after my dad passed away and I ended up working several jobs to support my brother while supporting my (now ex) wife and kid. My brother lived with us for a while because he couldn't afford rent and was in college at the time. Then my ex wife and I begun arguing a lot and it became increasingly difficult to work things out between us. I discovered eventually that my brother had a bad influence on my life and marriage when he got together with my ex. and in that instance I was done with both of them.

The second story is just sad. Imagine seeing your ex who you loved so much and who didn't want to marry or have kids with you do the same thing with your cousin. Of course she's gonna be heartbroken. 1st story maybe he should hire security guards so the brother doesn't show up at your wedding. We hear so many wedding story how uninvited guest shows up and just causes drama. If your family is telling you to invite him they might probably do something sneaky and say oh I told him to come on your behalf because its time to forgive and be a family. So just be cautious.
