If you're a die- hard fan of IPhones/Apple products then just stick to those products and stop complaining about other ones when odds are most of you haven't bought a phone of any other brand but Apple in at least almost 3 years.

Fantastic, this phone is perfect. The bezels are not important when there are front speakers.

I don't understand the point of a 2k or 4k screen on phones. Seems like a large drain of battery and GPU power for microscopic visual gain.

i feel smartphones have reached a point where the knew ones look a lot like the old ones. Same for computers. Same for smartwatches. Same for VR displays. So basically I think we should stop with technology we went far enough. Now we need to invest in medical, for example eye laser operation to treat myopia exist since a long time but there are still risks, sometimes the operation don't succeed. If the investment was near as big as for large public device, health tech would be overkill which is not yet the case. Even better we would be able to buy our own body sensors like mri because the costs would drop so if we think we have a tumor or something just go in the living room take a mri and we would knos right away what we have in our body in 3d.

It's a 4K display and front facing speakers I am okay with the bezels lol.

Also If you can't tell the difference then chances are it's on 1080p and then it switches to 4K when you look at a high res photo or 4K video.

The updates of the Xperia XZ Premium are Top. I would take the XZ Premium . They will be beasts anyway, with cameras at Top. I am convinced that sony will beat this year in terms of photography. Even if it did not reduce the borders, It's not the borders I'm looking for in a smartphone, it's the specs that make a real difference

it looks gorgeous I live Sony's color schemes and design aesthetic. wish they brought on the pearl whites on the xz premiums as well that they're known for.

It not like they just slapped on a hi-res display, 4K screen is ideal for VR. Also what he didn't mention is the power button doubles as a fingerprint reader. If I could, I would buy this phone over whatever else out there.

Only supported content is actually shown in UHD; most stuff is at FHD to save power.

For me, Front facing stereo speaker >> Small bezels, any day. But the problem is, these speakers are not as good as those of One M8 or Nexus 6P.
Another problem with the camera is, the processing software is just crap. Almost every picture I take with my Z3 looks faded and dull. The high resolution is of no use in that case.
And speaking of software, the bloat is simply unforgivable in 2017, when Samsung and HTC are toning it down.
