This is actually funny to me, one day these idiots want to fire the police and now they figured out they can’t live without them. I’m a retired police officer and I would love to see the officers get together and say they don’t want the extra work.

Maybe once this crowdfunding model gets really popular, it should be standardised at a county or state level you know, to save money on admin costs and what not. Then it should be an overall pool of money that everyone funds, not just those who wanted it, since it's for the benefit of everyone in the community. That way it would be really cheap for everyone; $220/shift/person sounds a lot. If spread across all the residents, it would be much much lower and services can be improved. Then maybe they should also make higher income earners pay more, not too much, but a marginal amount. I think we would also then benefit from having a centralised administration once it's big enough so that these resources can be deployed to areas of most need, to bring down the crime rate and increase the value of our property.

Councilman repeating all the standard talking points without providing any solutions. People having to pay extra for patrols in order to feel safe in their neighborhood is a direct result of failed leadership in Minneapolis.

if it brings down crime, i'm all for it, finally got my racing pony fixed, it's like a prototype, it has 1NTERCEPTOR tagged on each side, with black & yellow racing stripes, ,racing transmission, supercharger and all very fast and light, i have 2 of them, the other 1 is black and white and pretty much stock, it's a hobby of mine, thank god we have the right to bear arms, they can always protect themselves, if it gets to bad, don't forget abut that option either #Rider on a steel horse i ride
