Clint Mansell - The Last Man (“The Fountain“ Soundtrack)

“The Fountain“ surprised me like no other movie. Darren Aronofsky is simply brilliant. Every single scene is so boundless... I loved the multiple possible interpretations that can be given to the narrative, not to mention Hugh Jackman: sure, in Prisoners it is majestic, but here? It is literally indescribable. In my opinion this is the real cinema, a way of telling a story and at the same time injecting the viewer with a sense of change, something you don't lose after a few minutes after you've finished watching the movie.

I have constantly had Clint Mansell's wonderful soundtracks in my head, and when you manage to accompany a film in such an elegant and profound way... that's where you make the viewer differentiate what you have achieved from everything else.
