you're totally right. that's why i use noise gate for the purpose he was built for and not to magically cleaning my rhythmic rests or playing.

The fx-2 is probably the best on the market right now. In my opinion, he had a semi-decent tone going before he started fucking with the noise gate. It all went downhill from there. Still a very nice video. I'm sure that tone will work for somebody but not for me.
