METCO Showcase | December 10, 2022

The first ever METCO Showcase was a blockbuster hit! Over 200 METCO families and newcomers came to the Berkshire Partners Blue Hill Boys & Girls club to meet nearly all of the METCO participating districts and over 40 community organizations exhibiting their programs. The four-hour event featured performances from Lincoln’s STEP club, music, pizza and snacks, raffles for Red Sox tickets, gift cards, and more, and special guest Wally the Green Monster showing off the real championship trophies from the Red Sox. This new tradition was a collaborative effort across the whole METCO community, and our special thanks go to all the METCO Directors, superintendents, assistant superintendents, principals, department heads, and METCO district staff! Boston City Councilor Julia Mejia also stopped by to say hello.
