Framedrops are due to compiling and caching of shaders into the shader cache (be sure that you have the shader cache enabled in the settings as well). Once a good enough shader cache for a game is built, when you keep playing the game or boot it up again another time, it should run fast (although this entirely depends on your CPU). GTK is really a downside but since it should not impact performance and, since the UI is easy enough and unlike yuzu, doesn't require configuration (the emulator comes pre-configured aside from the controllers unlike yuzu which needs different configurations for some games, multiple configuration options). Ryujinx is WAY more stable and almost never crashes on me, yuzu on the other hand...

In Arch based distros both emulators are on the repositories, well Yuzu is in the official ones and Ryujinx is on AUR, though :p

I want to use citra on linux but my switch pro controller only works on windows. When I try to map the buttons, it always detects a "button 0" input before I press anything. On windows it works fine and thats really the only reason why I still have my windows partition :(

i installed ryujinx but it's cannot run with nvidia offloading.
i googled it and found gtk doen't support nvidia offloadinng yet. i am stucc with yuzu now.
some lightweigth game such rune factory it run very well with my internal GPU which is AMD Vega.
