SA elections: Focus on the ANC

The SA election results so far suggest that the ANC is on course to lose its majority in Parliament for the first time since it came to power 30 years ago. Political Analyst Rekgotsofetse Chikane says if the ANC gets below 50%, it will mean that SA citizens have finally consolidated their democracy.

It’s time political parties review themselves. I mean genuinely looking into the mirror and ask themselves about their future Ann’s all hard questions. Zuma won without manifesto and what does that say to all political parties. For me it means people can see through you as leaders when you are not true to his people . But many of us saw something in Zuma when the world could not see it . When many attacked him some of us saw a true and honest leader not the actors we see today playing smart and arrogant to the voters
