Jews of the Soviet Union 1948-53. Murdered culture

Our session with Yigal Kotler will focus on the assassination of Solomon Mikhoels, the disbandment of the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee, the fight against "cosmopolitanism" and the destruction of the Jewish national culture. We will try to understand the reasons for the formation of the Soviet state-level anti-Semitism and whether Stalin had an anti-Jewish paranoia.
