Marjorie Taylor Greene Accidentally Insults Interviewer To His Face

"Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said that a societal backlash against white men is leading to loneliness, an increase in porn viewership and more time spent playing video games.

Greene made the comments in an interview with Daniel Schmidt, an 18-year-old University of Chicago freshman who hosts the "Piece of Schmidt" YouTube show. Aside from discussing "the persecution of white men" and "the anti-white agenda and its consequences," the pair discussed Christian nationalism and a supposed link between the pharmaceutical industry and school shootings.

"[What we hear] through Hollywood, through books, through music, through our entire culture is that white men are bad; they have to be pushed to the back, they shouldn't be listened to," Greene said in a clip posted on Twitter by left-wing pundit Ron Filipkowski. "But what that's done to your generation...it has created hopelessness in many of these guys. They're lost, they grow up in a broken home or maybe just a bad home. No one's there for them."

When I was at Texas Christian University I had a sociology course where the professor (an Asian American male) defined "White Privilege" as not having more advantages in life, but rather having fewer disadvantages/discriminations in life (so kind of opposite of what it sounds like). Essentially, in our country's history, Caucasians (with few exceptions) have not faced the multiple generations oppression that most People Of Color (particularly African Americans) have faced, resulting in fewer disadvantages for them today. Sure, if you're a wealthy Caucasian, you are better off than all poor people in the U.S., but if you're a middle class Caucasian, you still have better chances to succeed in life because you don't have the systemic disadvantages that African, Asian, Hispanic, & Native Americans at a similar social class level have. Finally, when a non Caucasian does become successful in the U.S., it isn't because of "Reverse Discrimination" as some Caucasians argue, rather it's because they have managed to overcome the disadvantages that they faced that many of their Caucasian counterparts didn't have to face.

As a white male working in a blue collar industry I have never been passed over or discriminated against. In fact I have made more money per hour and received bigger raises than my non-white and female coworkers, also I was there less time and had a lower roll than most of those female and non white people. Except where I work now, I am in a union and pay and promotion are equal. So MGT you need to really get your facts straight. #MGT
