I would have thought he was just running wild not going camping with an oven mitt and fishing for his dinner. Free-spirited and independent. How hard it must have been for him before his rescue. Each dog you rescue is so unique in character. Sonya is great and has good energy. Loved this vid.❤

That was hilarious, Copper is a dear cute little one ! I imagine him taking his pot holder in his little cave all the way through the woods and the ferns, crossing the river, it's just so adorable! And all that to have his own little corner where he can fish quietly! He is a treasure! And it was so nice to meet Sonia, she's fantastic !

What a crack up! Copper, you little dude! How resourceful is this guy? Searching out his own campsite shelter, oven mitt bedding (he must've dragged it all the way from Asher House!), fresh water & food source - he is the dawg! The stalwart I've-got-it-all-sorted-out Dawg. Given his background, he's ensuring it'll never happen again. He's the Daniel Boon of dogs. How amazing is this wee guy, huh?!!!

I hope they left the mitt there. It must have been quite a chore dragging it out there (unobserved yet!) And it's so sweet to think that not only can he insulate with it, but it has the scent of home upon it.
