I'm 64 and just found my old trumpet at my dad's house. He passed away at almost 99 years old. I was looking through the house and found the trumpet. I haven't played it since I was 17 years old. I'll have to start from scratch, but first, I have to take it to the Music Doctors and get it nursed back to optimum health. Then I will start the process of learning to play again. My father always wanted me to play "Flight of the Bumble Bee". It was his challenge to get me to practice and become an excellent trumpet player. I always wanted to learn "Feels So Good". I am going to try and build my lip back, and strive to learn to play both of those songs. I had searched for that trumpet years ago because I wanted to keep playing before I lost it, but I had a family to feed and couldn't afford to buy a Trumpet for myself when my family had needs. The first wife is gone and the kids are grown. I'm retired now, and I have the time, so I'm going to start over and learn to play the trumpet again.
