Homemade non contact voltage tester ( Wireless AC line detector using BC547, Simple AC detector ).

This is a wireless AC line detector circuit using a bc574. This is a very good simple AC detector for your testing.

3. 330 Ohm resistor

Doesn't seem to be sensitive enough? only detects when millimetres away? Normal use case is detection of ac cables in walls & ceilings, with 2 to 6 cms separation?.

It can detect ac? Or resistance? It beeps when you touch🙄 there is no ac in you body but has resistance🤔
