As a black templar player i was proud of my boy until i realized... how does he know that they call each other Alpharius?
I'm quite confident that we have a situation where 2 different groups of Alpha legion infiltrated the black templars without knowing about each other and one is trying to out the other to improve his own position.

I love the fact that two Alpha Legionaries, who are very strong fighters, due to good tactics, training and the fact that they are in average the biggest space marines of the original legions, are genuinely scared of fighting one single black Templar when it gets to a sword fight

Honestly my favorite thing about Alpha Legion is they actually understand how super soldiers should function. They make sure to cross train on EVERYTHING so that way any of them can fulfill any role. Thus they can deploy exactly as many marines as needed in any formation because every one of them is qualified to take any position. None of this “I only charge at the enemy with a chainsword” nonsense or “ten dudes with heavy bolters and nothing else” tomfoolery.

Also like how they pass or fail aspirants as a squad rather than as individuals. Sure personal glory is neat and all but for every Cato Sicarius there’s a couple hundred dead dumbasses who tried to play hero.

The slightly stilted and awkward way they all talked to each other just heightened how good the entire joke was, this is by far one of my favourite Alpha Legion shit-posts I've seen in a while
