It was student visa they came on - finish the course you came for and leave, as a goodwill gesture they got work permits, as the government has realized that Canadian citizens are not finding jobs this step has been taken. Don’t post one sided news. Canada didn’t promise them permanent residency. If you want permanent residence then come under that program don’t use loopholes.

Indian students & temporary workers DO NOT have the right to stay in Canada & because a MAJOR BURDEN on Canadians.

Before Trudeau, international students had to PROVE they could financially support themselves throughout the entire school year, EVERY year. If they couldn’t they were given an Order of Removal letter that was handed in at airport Immigration officials before boarding the airplane to go back to their homeland.

This program WAS NEVER an opportunity to work & stay in Canada permanently!

The temporary foreign worker program WAS NEVER an opportunity to work & stay in Canada. It was a SPECIFIC amount of time. Once that time expired, they went home to their homeland!

Let’s CANCEL both programs & look after Canadians. These 2 programs take jobs away from Canadians, as well as housing!
