An eagerly awaited second day to a four day tour of Scotland, whilst staying at Tyndrum. In this video we travel from Tyndrum to Oban enjoying the twisty roads on route and finally explore the fishing town and soak up the hospitality Oban has to offer.

This episode illustrates the route travelling north from Tyndrum via the A82 towards Oban on the A85. From Oban we take the A828 towards Glencoe village before stopping for lunch at the Clachaig Inn in the mountains of Glencoe. After a light lunch and some photos we continue back to our accommodation at Tyndrum Lodges before having our evening meal at Tyndrum Inn

Enjoy breathtaking views of Oban, Glencoe & the intimidating mountains as we travel from Glencoe to Tyndrum.

All video captured on GoPro Hero 9's & edited in FCPX.

Your videos are amazing and truly a joy to watch!
As far as the gusty winds are concerned, my thought would be to drive reasonably fast to get help from the gyroscopic stabilization from the spinning wheels.
Enjoy your riding and stay safe!

Really enjoyed your video, many familiar roads. Agree with you on the riding, a sensible speed when touring to enjoy the road and scenery.

13:18 That's mine :-), great machine for the town, I also have a BMW K1600GT for our trips and a lovely 14 year old Honda CBF1000 with only 5, 000 miles, fabulous machine. Already a subscriber and so this was a bit of surprise!!

This is the first video of yours I've watched so I'll have a look to see what else you've posted as I like the way you link the footage to where you are. The only yellow square of annoyance I've had was on my 2nd GS with the SOS system throwing a wobbler every time I lost the mobile signal, which happened a lot in Wales normally just when I didn't want the distraction. Safe to say I don't have it on my 1250. As they say "It depends" but I normally drop my speed when it's windy especially if there's other teaffic around as if I do get caught by a gust if I'm going too fast the consequences of the momentum working against me and throwing me further off course possibly into oncoming traffic or the hedge is higher if that makes sense.

Great video, and spookily enough my 1200 GSA had the exact same message show up while I was on my recent Scotland trip. Restarted the bike, and all has been well since. I wondered if I had started the engine before the bike had gone through it’s electronics initiation? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Enjoyed the tour. Very scenic and loved the town of Oban and the Clachaig Inn in Glencoe. What year is your GSA?
