this video doesn't actually explain how some of these movies differed from real life events. it just says some things happened and it's hard to tell what they left out

Considering that "Into the Wild" is about how he dies, doesn't that technically mean the real ending wasn't left out?

10:35 Correction: The survivors actually were not criticized like this video is trying to depict, in actuality the survivors received forgiveness and understanding for what they had to do in order to survive. Even from the parents of those who died;

"We are glad there were 45 of them, because this helped 16 of them return." - Dr. Valetta, father of one of the deceased victims of the crash.

The survivors were actually largely considered heroes, and respected throughout their communities. I believe the Pope also gave each men who survived a pardon for their actions. They were not condemned for it.

I don’t think I could ever be a climber. Hearing all the stories of what happened on Everest and other large cliffs kinda scared me from that

127 Hours was pretty good. It was maybe a little light on Aaron Ralston's arrogance, as he was very self-assured of himself, so much so that he never told anyone where is was going, even if he was going to an area that was known to be quite difficult to hike. He learned, though and if you watch the movie or even better, read his book, as we can all learn that survival is above all else. But if you go hiking or trail running alone, which is fine, tell someone where you are going and when you expect to be back. This is important.

The thumbnail picture is from At Eternity's Gate. A Van Gogh biopic. Which seems odd since it is not a survival movie...

You left out “Conviction”. Kenny Waters is innocently sentenced to life imprisonment. His sister works herself through law school and get him free. What the film doesn’t show is that Kenny dies of cancer 6 months after his realease

“Togo” is a movie everyone should watch, as it’s way more than a simple children/kids movie on a dog. It’s a story about unshakeable bonds, endurance, life, friendship, nature, love and much more. 💖💖

The rabbit proof fence was a devastating watch. The fact that she had to endure it again is a travesty

You forgot 'Swiss Army Man.' While mostly a completely accurate accounts, Hollywood did make very tiny changes here and there.

I love the way so many people completely missed the point of the ending to “Into the Wild”.

I’ve always felt drawn to Chris Mccandles. Him and I share a birthday. I was born the same year he died.
My mom always said that’s why I’m always drawn to being outside and in the wild. I’ve always been her wild flower
