Learners generally don't like spiral roundabouts, with the confusing multiple lanes.
Here's the technique I use with my learners ... keep your eye on the lane to the left of you, work out when it will disappear, and predict when you will become the new left lane.

To me the only issue I find with this roundabouts it's when we need to jump 2 lanes to the left .. also when going all the way around .. because the spiral marks are not designed for drivers to come back around .

Spiral roundabouts are brilliant untill road markings fade away and / or the road sign board is facing away from road as an angry girlfriend

10:05 Believe it or not, there are exceptions to this rule. I know a roundabout on the A52 called Bramcote Island. What happens there is that the far right lane cuts through the roundabout, and to take the final exit you need to be in the far left lane. This design catches people off guard very often.

How can you notice if a roundabout is spiral or just a basic one?
