This reminds me of my kid's tortoise enclosure zoo tycoon 2 - she made an enclosure that was huge... The tortoise was unhappy because it was always hungry and thirsty... The tortoise roamed too far from its food and water dishes and didn't get back to them in time.
Moral of the story here? You have a small fish, if you give it a huge tank and 1 pellet, it's going to find it hard to find its food, regardless of its eyesight... It's the equivalent of you finding a packet of crisps in a football stadium.

I just had a cool idea for a DIY project. A fish tank crossed with a nightstand.

Imagine a nightstand with a light that acts as a lamp when you're in bed with a detachable wood/metal lid that you can put stuff on top of.

Someone's probably made something like that, but I think it'd be a cool thing to try to make yourself.
