Stingray, also known as "ستينغراي, " is a rumored version of "Five Nights at Freddy's 2." It is also referred to as "Fnaf 2 stingray, " "Stingray fnaf 2, " "Five Nights At Freddy's 2 Demo, " and "Five Nights At Freddy's 2 Stingray." This version allegedly existed on piracy apps, masquerading as a fake copy of "Five Nights at Freddy's 2" with a built-in virus. There are various versions of this game circulating online, but the most popular one features a sequence where, after the player beats Night 5, an eyeless Withered Chica jumpscares the player with a high-pitched scream, causing the screen to glitch. Following this, a black screen appears accompanied by a distorted version of The Puppet Music Box (My Grandfather's Clock)[1]. One to two minutes later, The Puppet jumpscares the player. After this, the game reportedly steals all of the player's personal information and data.

In reality, once the game is granted permission, it seemingly disappears (though it remains installed on the phone, as verified in the Settings). This game, hereinafter referred to as "Android.Elite.1.origin, " then begins collecting your personal information and data. It sends a message to all the user's contacts every five seconds, stating, "HEY!!! [contact name] Elite has hacked you. Obey or be hacked." Additionally, if the user attempts to open WhatsApp, Messenger, Hangouts, Facebook, or any default SMS/MMS application, an image appears blocking access to these apps. This image depicts The Bot/Bug droid with a gun and a Guy Fawkes mask (also known as the V for Vendetta or Anonymous mask) with the text, "OBEY or Be HACKED."[2][3]

The real version of "Fnaf 2 originated from Aptoide, one of the most popular APK sites. It is believed to have been removed from Aptoide on an unknown date. Later, an APK named "fnaf2 aptoide.apk" was discovered on the Wayback Machine. However, this was proven to be a fake due to the virus and the virus's image creation date being in 2023. Currently, the original APK of the game is considered lost media.
