For those of you that are asking the question:”if I get x amount of points on PSAT this year, can I get y amount of points for SAT?”, just stop. Everything is literally possible if you put into enough effort and work.

A "good" score is basically whatever score your school of choice will accept.

I got a 1340 on the PSAT during sophomore year. I am currently a junior and I am taking the actual SAT in 6 days. Hopefully I score a 1500+

I just got a 1170 for PSAT as a sophomore and feel very disappointed since many of my friends got 50-100 pts higher than I did. I’m good at math but the math section always hurt my final scores

Lol this takes me back. I was a National Merit semifinalist, but when I took my SAT my scores took a serious hit. Depression is real y'all.

This comment section kind of ruined it for me because I thought my 209 index score was good

I got a 1350 my sophomore year, and my SAT score is currently in the (low) 1500s. Hopefully my PSAT score will reflect the same in the next 2 months

I'm a freshman and I got an 890. I know that it's so the best but I feel like since I've never taken it before I can improve a lot when I take it again my sophomore and junior year. I hope that my SAT score will be at least a 1470 when I take it :)

I got 172 last year & the cutoff was 218, but considering that was 1) not studying 2) being a sophomore and not having had geometry or Alg 2 I’ll be more prepared this time & it actually counts now

I’m a sophomore and I got a 1390. Perfect math score. With a 630/720 on reading.

I live in New Jersey and I barley missed the index score for the state. If lived in literally any other state I would have been fine :(

I got a 950 on my PSAT, Math without calculator was good but I didn't have a calculator to use for the last part of it when we needed a calculator to solve it. Looks like I need to go buy one just to get some extra questions right

Do a video talking about early admissions decisions - what the different statuses mean, staying encouraged, etc! xx

Got a 1360 as a sophomore, but my math and reading scores were VERY different, so it was helpful knowing what I need to study for next year

I'm in 8th grade and we took the PSAT. I'm not sure why, considering I'm not in high school yet, but I got 1110/1440 which was in the 97th percentile.

I’m in 10th grade and I got a 1350 on the PSAT, and I’ve taken the SSAT twice and gotten the 98% percentile over all on both, but how do those translate to my SAT scores?

I’m a sophomore and I got a 1210 on the PSAT but I really want a 1450 on the real SAT. I’m taking the real SAT this May. Is it possible to improve that much for me?

You don't need to be a U.S. Citizen. I'm not a citizen but I qualify. Good thing I researched before believing I had no chance.
