Hwam are a manufacturer of superb quality wood burning stoves and based in Denmark.
We especially love the simple to use automatic burn control features on these stoves.
Basically, get the stove up to temperature and then set the burn rate. After that, these stoves open and shut their own primary air controls to give you the cleanest and most efficient burn dependant on the burn stage of the fuel.
Once at temperature, there is nothing for the user to do other than reload when a further log is required…
Fiddling round with air controls really is not needed. It’s as simple as feeding in another log as you need it and burn as little fuel as you need for the desired heat output.
The Hwam 3740c shown in this video by stockist Sarah-Jane of Natural Heating in Norfolk (East Anglia) can stand just 10cm forward of combustible walling and 9cm from the back corners when fitted on twin wall insulated flue in a corner location.
This stove is 5kw nominal with a 3 to 7kw heat output range and available in both black and a soft grey metallic finish
