Weeding through all the 'sensational' youtube videos of Colorado, I appreciate a 'homegrown' perspective. I have been there twice now, and can't get over the natural beauty.

Thank you for diverting the interlopers to 11 of the least spectacular and easiest trails in CO. Keep up the good work ;) Honestly this list should be called "My favorite beginner friendly hikes that are close to major cities in Colorado"

Went to Hanging lake in 2019, great scenery. Was $12 per person and you ride the shuttle. Now if they reopen it might have to charge extra.

Great video . Thanks. Believe the river running through the Black Canyon is the Gunnison, not the Colorado.

Thank you for including time stamps. Which do you consider to be the most immersive?

We used to camp near the Y. I was pretty small, but we named one campsite Bell Rock. We had to jump across a brook to get to this rock from the campsite. It has a rock on the back of the "bell" that looks like an ironing board. If I recall correctly this was in view of Mount Big Cheif, but that might be a different site. Also, the older siblings used to hike up to Eagles Nest, another rocky formation. We rarely had another other campers nearby. These are above Colorado Springs. Does any of this sound familiar?

I used to love going up to RMNP. Now with overcrowding it’s hard to get up there for a spontaneous day of hiking. The permit system in place from June through most of October is a real hassle.

Can you suggest a few 12k and 13k mountains for beginners in Colorado maybe San juan and or rio grande mountains?

Very nice video! The first and second shots look like Norway and PNW though. That can't be Colorado right?

Wait. Did you just say pro kayakers were taking on the Colorado River at Black Canyon NP? I believe that’s the Gunnison.

Stupid question, what are your thoughts of solo hiking and wild animals?

It's just so barren. I'm not used to being able to see thru the forest.
