If you want to lose weight but the keto freaks (sorry, keto people) are telling you no carbs, you can go ahead and ignore them and then make this; my homemade chicken alfredo. As with anything I make, you can still enjoy your favorite foods and lose weight if you just make some basic substitutions and put a little bit of effort in.

2644 calories
199.4 g carbs
75.7 g fat
300 g protein

Per Meal (makes 5)
529 calories
40 g carbs
15 g fat
60 g protein

Ingredients and equipment with links if needed:
227 g (8 oz) - Chickpea pasta
708 g (25 oz) - Boneless skinless chicken breast
42 g (3 Tbsp) - Light butter
95 g (¾ cups) - Grated or shredded parmesan (grated is better but I only had shredded)
840 ml (3 ½ cups) - Low fat buttermilk
23 g (2 Tbsp) - Cornstarch
5 g (2 Tbsp) - Minced or diced garlic

Seasoning mix used:
Black pepper
Salt
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Basil
Thyme
Oregano
Sage
