Correction: Thanks to De Silva: At the end around 5 min: a = 3. I should have divided by 2(3). The answer will then be twice what I got. It will be 59 x 2 = 118 Years from 2007. The population will be 300,000 in the year 2125. Thanks.

Is this correct? In your calculation, you indicated 2*a, and equated it to 2*6. Shouldn't it be2*3?
