You remind me so much of my father in law, let me break that down. I grew up in NY catching smallmouth, warmouth (we called em rock bass or rockies) walleye and stuff like that. I joined the Army and moved to TN just up the rd from you. He'd call me up at work and say what time you get off? I'd tell him and he'd say I'll be at the boat ramp and hang up. I knew where he'd be, and we would crappie fish till dark. He passed awayand I stopped fishing for awhile, it brought back too many memories and I just didnt wanna face em. But low and behold I got excited about fishing again and I'm glad. Becasue I absolutely love it. You inspire me to get back out there and just fish because I love it. So props to ya. Anyhow love the videos and I'll keep my eye out for upcoming ones, thank you again for helping me get back into something that I already loved, it's just time for the next chapter. I know this is an older video, but I found it interesting watching this video today, yesterday I worked at a guys house and got some crappie rods from him, his name is Mr Jessie here in Texas, and he was good friends with Mr Perry. Mr Perry talked to him the evening before he passed from covid. Mr Jessie gave me a bunch of plastics Mr Perry poured as well as some hand ties Mr Jessie made. I love crappie fishing, and have met some super amazing crappie fisherman. Mr Jessie showed me some of his favorite spots on the lake we fish, and what time of year to go there.
