So, BIDU management is telling us that they have $24B in cash (almost half of the company´s cap), yet no share buybacks, on the contrary, they are issuing new shares. In 2021 it was OK, because of the secondary IPO in Hong Kong, but in 2022, why are they issuing new shares and diluting sharesholders if they have $24B cash on hand? There are no sign of SBC - not that I miss it, but again, all these strange cash numbers, doesn´t this concern anyone?

Despite the economic downturn, I'm so happy☺️. I have been earning $ 60, 000 returns from my $10, 000 investment every 14days.

You bought it because you needed validation on your thesis most retail investors need validation as well on their thesis so that's why I think people should disclose their holdings on YouTube and in general and not be delayed by 3 months If you're going to follow experts you might as well see their advice and take their advice in correlation to your own thesis and ideas but people have a certain type of idea what that it title is it's very gray area but everyone thinks it just black and white

Google is 24x the market cap of Baidu.
Amazon is 4x the market cap of Baba.
So why is Baidu so relatively small? Poor management? Do Chinese companies allocate less dollars to ads? Is it because a larger percentage of Alibaba customers are outside of China compared to Baidu users?

You can time the market alot better then dca
. The key is wait till interest rates go lower. Make no sense to invest when interest rates going up, sell everything

How can you not take into consideration the currency :)))) If a company grows 20% in a currency that has 15% inflation there is only 5% growth

I know is best to invest in safe heaven assets cos profit level usually drops in these times, but I have been reading articles of people that were still able to gross heavy profit up to $580k during this what is the best strategy at this time

This analysis is so bad. In every video Paul says "Free cash flow is harder to manipulate than net income" but he's so wrong, FCF is often skewed by stock based compensation. The key metric is operating income...

I really appreciate your videos! Baidu's core business generates approximately 10 USD/share of stable cash flow and balance sheet cash and comparables amount to approximately 30 USD/share. Considering the long breakeven time of investment plans for "spawners" companies, I think it is hasty to define a company like Bidu as low return on capital business. Assuming that the capex on the new business lines can be reduced, or even better that these can exceed the breakeven time, the return on capital can be very high. At 100-120 range Bidu's core business would still be comparable to an "equity bond" of 13-15% if you deduct the balance sheet cash from the residual business value, as Warren might say!

3 months ago It was relatively easy to find a decent price on various stocks. I am definitely having a difficult time locating those deals now
