Poor, sweet Yang. My heart breaks for him. As a mother to a child with special needs, I know the value of kindness and how important it is to be surrounded by people who truly love your child.

Just after WW2, my father was a member of a Royal Air Force search and recovery unit looking for missing Allied aircraft and their crews in Germany. On one mission in the "Teufelsmoor" (Devil's Moor) north of Bremen his team were driving down a dirt track through the moor when all of a sudden an old peasant woman appeared from nowhere and flagged the RAF truck down to stop. Asking the woman in broken German what the problem was she said that the expanse of water on the road ahead was not a large puddle, as they had thought, but a large and very deep bomb crater ! My father tested the water with a weighted rope and found that indeed it was very deep and had they driven into the crater they would have all drowned. The airmen turned to thank the old lady....but she had literally vanished into thin air!. There was nowhere she could have gone - left and right were treeless swamps with no tracks, and she wasn't on the road and couldn't have gone far anyway. To his dying day my father couldn't explain where the old lady had come from all of a sudden, and where she went to after warning the airmen of the danger. He only knew that she had definitely saved their lives. 😮

The last story is so sad. This is what happens when a person is bullied as a child. Something in them turns. The utter loneliness of having no one to speak to, share your thoughts with. Someone to care for. The simple act of just showing someone especially a child love and compassion makes a world of difference. And when they didn't get the just, something like this story happens. Or so much worse. Be kind ppl. Be kind. It cost nothing.

My great grandfather was sick as a baby. His family was in a house but in the middle of making their way west. When my great great grandmother was at home alone with him as a sick baby a knock came at the door. A man she had never seen said he could cure her baby. She let him in and he prayed for the baby who had been crying. Whatever the man said he had told my gg grrandma to never repeat. She was so relieved the baby stopped crying she held the baby for a few seconds. When she turned to thank the man he was gone and she had never heard him leave. She never told anyone what the man said while praying for the baby and she never saw the man again.

I was a young girl of about 17 when I was driving my black Toyota 4x4 at night and it stalled out in the middle of the freeway lane. There wasn’t much traffic but still it was a black car, no electrical aka no lights and at night. Within minutes a guy in another truck pulled in front of me, came to my window and said “put the car in neutral” then tied a rope to my bumper and pulled me in my truck to the side of the road. I looked down into my purse to find some cash so I could give him a couple dollars as a thank you, but when I looked up- he was gone. It was literally seconds. The road ahead was clear. I believe he was an angel. I don’t remember anything else about that night.

Yang's story is very sad. I knew early on that the "aunts" were not alive, but I had no idea where the story would go. That poor man!

I've heard every story you have told but Yangs is the first to ever legitimately make me tear up. So unbelievably sad.

I've been hooked since the first time I was introduced, and now my 18 year old son is hooked. You've helped me get through work, and my life in general. Thank you, MrBallen.

A very important addition to the 'woman in black' story is that only a handful of the onlookers and first responders actually saw her. Whilst the rest had no idea what the others were talking about and denied that there had been any woman in black who approached and prayed etc. I've seen interviews with a couple of the responders and unrelated onlookers who saw her, they were completely baffled as to how other onlookers and medical personnel, who were right beside them, never saw her intervene.

When I was a young man and visiting a friend, we had a group gathering at their home. We were all out front when I was approached by an old lady in a nightgown with bare feet. Completely caught off guard, none of us saw her approach. She was suddenly in arms reach and speaking to me, I was closest to her. She had a serious but pleading demeanor "Help my son" she said, "Please, help him. They're going to kill him." My heart was racing and I asked her "Where is he?! Who is your son?". Her response was, "You know him! You know my son! Please help him!" When she said this it felt as if she was limited, if that makes sense, she kept repeating these same lines over and over, yet she was precise and noticeably coherent when she spoke. I couldn't make out who her son was, or how we could know. No one recognized her but her sincerity and persistence was like she KNEW we were familiar with her son and was desperate to get us to understand. After turning to my friends and looking back, she was gone. No one saw her walking away. Just gone. We were speechless but discussed it for quite some time after the fact. The next day we saw on the local news that a kid our age, familiar with from school, had been shot and killed. It was one of the strangest, darkest and most mysterious experiences I've ever had.

That story about Yang is so sad. I knew early on that the "aunts" were actually not alive, but did not realize the direction the story would take. That poor man!

I know this sounds crazy but sometimes I see them. I used to be pest control tech and went to this house, I was spraying the backyard, when I noticed this older man who was sitting in an chair bending over petting his dog. I apologized and told him sorry that I didnt see him. He said thats okay and then we chatted a moment until a lady came out the back door, I looked over to her, and she asked me who I was talking to. I looked back at the guy with the dog, and they both disappeared. I was a little stunned and didn't know what to say to the lady. I just asked her.." Do you have a dog?" She said no that her and her son just moved in. I just did my regular thing and told her if she needed anything specific to let me know..I guess the previous owner was this old man and his dog or something..I didn't do any research but apparently he wanted me to know he and his dog was looking out for the place..The worst is when they come to tell they have died and there is nothing you can do. I end up knowing before everyone else..kinda sucks.

My family was traveling to see our grandparents. We ran out of gas on a side road behind a huge hill (near Kerrville Texas) it was a lookout post. Not a soul would have seen our car at 2am. My dad decided he would walk the 25 miles to the next town for gas. Out of nowhere, this red car came speeding to our car. He told my dad, "You need gas, get in". 15 minutes later, they were back gas in the gas can. Enough to get us to my granny and paws house. Dad went to get him $$ for his help, and we all watched him seriously vanish. It was something I've never forgotten. ❤
