Mitre Saw Laser Line Vs Shadow Line | Makita LS1219L vs Dewalt DWS780

Makita LS1219L 12" Mitre saw Laser Line compared with the Shadow Line on the Dewalt 12" DWS 780 Mitre Saw.
No comparison, the Shadow Line is FAR superior, clearer to see and much more accurate in my opinion.
What do you guys think ?

I use both the Makita and Dewalt 12" Mitre saws. I much prefer the shadow line on the dewalt mitre saw, so much clearer and accurate. The laser on the Makita is terrible, video makes it look better than it really is. For me, the shadow line is fantastic.

Shadow line is better. If you've got a small shop, then the space savings of the Makita win-out. If you also have measured stops for repeat cuts in your shop, then the line doesn't really matter.
