Nice tone and playing! I changed to JJs and to my ears made the tone stack more musical. I’m studying jazz standards and to get more richness I rolled back the treble and rolled up the bass. The tone was n my LesPaul at 8. Keeping the gain 1/4 up and master 3/4 up. To switch to rhythm chords change the pickup selection to use both pickups. The material of pick I use and where I play either closer to bridge or neck and how smoothly I play to make the amp blossom.

Does your amp produces a little bit of hum? I just recently got an AC4HW and I swapped the old Ruby tubes with JJ tubes and it sounds better. But now it hums a little and I am not sure if it had that hum before I swapped the tubes. I put the old tubes back and the hum is still there. I am pretty sure that the amp was quiet but failed to notice the hum before I changed the tubes. Also, what tubes are you using? Do you notice the lack of low end that this amp has?
