How to bind a WLtoys receiver to a transmitter?

Hi there. I have a wltoys 144010 and I’m having problems. When i first bought it which was last year. It’s been working great. Now it randomly unbinds most of the time when i turn it on and and sometimes it’s fine. This method for some reason no longer works for mine. Any ideas? Is the battery faulty. I haven’t used it in a while for like a couple months as I’ve been injured and i left it on full charge sitting in my box. Is that maybe the reason? Thanks 😊
