Tbh Jokic deserves it way more. Even though his scoring might not be as high, everything else he does on the floor on and off the stat sheet is beyond everyone else. Not to mention the nuggets roster without him would be in the nut dust bowl.

Jokic will almost always have the best stats. But traditionally, voters have also looked at how good your team is doing compared to others.
