This is absolutely devastating. While I was a student at Penn State, waiting outside one of the premier games of the year, as soon as the gates opened, the thousands of people crunched to get inside. Imagine a xylophone compressing. A girl next to me in her 20s started to suffocate; she couldn't breath, starting to gasp for air, her sternum tightened. I pushed everyone back away from her and started yelling to give her space. We made it in safely. I can't imagine how the people involved in this situation must feel and my thoughts and prayers to all those effected.

Knowing I was close to going there with my friends, and even then was just 20 minutes away when it happened… receiving calls from home at 4 in the morning from my mom worried I might not be alive…
This is such an incredibly big tragedy, my deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. My heart hurts so much for them.
