Africa Among the Wild

Go on a virtual Safari with OKC Zoo and News 9 (KWTV CBS) on Tuesday, June 7! Last summer, News 9’s Colby Thelen joined the OKC Zoo on a conservation trip to Tanzania and Rwanda, Africa to document the fantastic African wildlife and how the OKC Zoo and other grassroots organizations are helping to protect them. Members from the OKC Zoo and many adventurous Oklahomans explored Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, the incredible Central Serengeti and trekked mountain gorillas in Rwanda with representatives from Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.
