Austin Police contract is signed with 90% approval from the police union and city council

It’s official. Austin’s controversial and long-debated police contract took effect on Tuesday. City leaders are counting on it to improve morale in the Austin Police Department and fill more than 300 vacancies.

your officers need to take a basic constitutional knowledge test if you care about the protection and service of law abiding citizens we don't need our tax dollars going into lawsuits for constant mistakes made by your officers
