I just realized that what Nekomiya had on her forehead was not hair but a barcode. So all this time Nekomata had a barcode on her forehead and it was most likely her gang mark from the Red Fang Gang. However, the theory says that it could be a mark from slavery/prisoner or the result of an experiment.

Yeahh i doesent really make sense for it to be from slave trade, nekomiya told us that originally the red fang gang was good to her and the people and only turned bad later, i doubt that she was a lab experiment too, theres no evidence for that.
