Received my back pay yesterday. So relieved because I was afraid I might be overlooked (same anxiety I have in waiting rooms when they don't call me immediately.) I put 1/4 into savings to pay taxes in 2026 and rest went to pay down credit cards. Nothing exciting and it's already gone, but the interest I save by paying off credit cards will also be a raise.

Hi David love your videos. I'm a retired FF from a San Diego County FPD. I had 23 years under SS and 19 in CALPERS. Because of my 23 years my first bend point was 55%. I just received my back pay of $3800.00 but no explanation as to weather this was Net or Gross. No letter has been received. Best regards!
