Eleanor was the animatronic you saw in this video. In my point of view, she’s not all that evil as you think. She’s kinda the resemblance of karma. You see, Sarah didn’t like the way she looked. She saw this Animatronic on a walk in the junk yard. She wanted to fix it. As you see, she “fixed” her and the animatronic gave her a wish in return for fixing her. Sarah said she wanted to be beautiful. In the video where it shows Eleanor replacing her body with metal, they didn’t really explain that well. In reality, each night she slept, Eleanor changed a body feature each night. Legs one day, arms the next, torso, hair, and face. Sarah didn’t really know about the mechanics in her until the “incident”. She got more popular in school, and the boy she liked started to have some feelings for her. Well, notice how Eleanor told Sarah to wear the heart pendant. Eleanor had a matching pendant. She told Sarah to never ever take it off. Sarah didn’t know why but agreed to it. One day, she was sitting at lunch with a few new friends and when she got up to throw her food in the bin, she slipped and the pendant snapped off her neck. She was fine for a few seconds, but a few seconds later, screams of bloody murder were all across the cafeteria. She was crumbling away from life. She needed to get home to ask Eleanor what’s wrong with her. On her walk home, the metal in her was getting all rusted up, and it was getting harder for her to move. Once she reached the house, she went into her garage and noticed Eleanor standing right in front of her. She was in shock to see what fear came to her eyes. Bags with blood pooled everywhere containing her remaining body parts were behind Eleanor. As Sarah’s life was about to vanish, Eleanor transformed into Sarah’s old body and ran off. Sarah noticed, she was actually not at all ugly. Instead she was just one of the most beautiful people. Her life then vanished within thin air.

I haven’t read the book in a while. Especially when it’s probably shoved in my closet somewhere, so I apologize if I got anything incorrect. I missed a few important details, like her mom, best friend, and transitions into her new life, but that’s not what I was going for in this entire essay thing. Probably, no one’s going to see this, but I REALLY needed a time killer.

Edit: It seems that some people did not read the last part. I haven’t read the book in a while, so I don’t know every single thing I said here, right. Also, I wrote this two months ago, this is an old comment, so I had a lower comprehension.

The montage of events starting at 0:50 was so cleverly done. It looked good watching it like normal, but then I went back and slowed it down to get a better idea of what was happening. I have to say that the parallel made between painting the girl's nails and pulling them out with pliers was so incredibly smart, I didn't catch it until I slowed down the video though. All in all this is a masterpiece when it comes to storytelling.

To change and become beautiful, to be someone you are not. You have to risk something in order to get it, this beautiful animation makes a lot of sense that some people in the world are risking their own self to do plastic surgery, some others do this to gain attention, compliments, and make the person u like, like u too. But some others do it for their own reason so I'm not really trying to offend anyone, just saying. I respect people's decisions but not all of it lol

The animation and story telling is really amazing, along with all the little extra details and the smoothness of it at 1:58 is amazing. The only thing I dont get is why Sara looks like a little girl compared to all the high schoolers (before she got changed to have the blonde hair)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder in her eyes the girl wasn't beautiful but in the animatronic she was after all she was what she wanted to be. Human. This animation is beautiful it's fluid and so eye pleasing
