In this video, I am presenting step-by-step solution to this extremely challenging question from 2023 Korean Suneung SAT math with @TomRocksMaths We used different methods, and I am introducing my method in this video. Please make sure to go check the YouTube channel of @TomRocksMaths and see how he approached this question and solved it. This question was a challenging calculus problem using trigonometric function and composite function, and this was what many of the students struggled to come up with the final answer. To be more specific, I used more of graphing method, and @TomRocksMaths focused on algebraic work to solve this question out. 2023 Korean SAT Suneung math exam was difficult. I am also planning to cover other questions, too. Make sure to watch this video until the end, and check @TomRocksMaths channel at:

Hello, guys. In this question, there is one missing word. h(x) has a "local" maximum value of 0 when x is 0.

Awesome Dr PK. Love that your using the whiteboard. I solved using a similar method it and got f(x)=5/3(x^3/3-3x^2/2)+8 and f(2)=22/9, 22+9=#31, ,
Keep up the great work 👍 👏

Amazing how Korean students have so tricky and interesting questions on their entrance exam, Brazilian exams are not at that level of greatness lol.
Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷 and congratulations for the amazing work 🎉

Graphical methods usually require just the right amount of cleverness and that too at the right place. It doesn't require remembering or working out much formulae, or that's how I like to think. A nice problem indeed. Thank you. 🙇

Nicely done! My only critique might be that if I hadn't done the problem myself and thought about f(x) being related to the arcsin, I wouldn't have understood why you were counting things on the x-axis and saying that it meant f(0) = 8. At least TO ME, it seemed like you were saying something about x=8 meant something about f at x=0. But I enjoyed how you explained your process!! I went for a completely non-graphical solution. Rene Descartes is my friend, and I almost always move something living in graphical land to something that lives in algebra land.😊
