Like Karen, I called in at 6:30pm. The town hall is full? Are you kidding me? Maybe Kiley packed the call in lines with his friends and is shutting everyone else out? Why am I not surprised. Kickout Kevin !!

“Due to overwhelming demand we are unable to connect you to your conference at this time.” Not surprised.

The code given constituents to enter the Town Hall was invalid according to the automated voice.

How many callers were allowed, automated voice said the call center was overwhelmed and they could not connect me.

He said there were 25, 100 people on the call. I tried to get into the queue for questions but too many and I never got through. I had a list of rebuttals on everything he said or questioned he responded to, as well as dozens of my own questions. He was very scripted and never really answered the questions about what he would do about things. There was a survey at the beginning asking a few questions: If you had ever participated in a call like this before? Would you like these meetings to be in person or on a call like this? if you usually file standard deductions or itemize on tax returns?. Since I didn't get through, I don't know what the disclosure was for asking questions. I think there were about 25 questions asked. To me, none of the people asking questions seemed like they were huge "fans" of his. The problem with this type of meeting is the moderator controls everything. you ask your question he answers you move on. you can't ask anything else about that. I am sure there would have been thousands and thousands at the in-person meeting. He was acting like everything was great and it was just another day in bi-partisan politics. He talked about what he had done before and acted like everything was hunky-dory. A person asked about the federal parks and tourism and the fired workers and he responded "Yeah the busy season is coming and we need to get people hired at our parks". They JUST FIRED qualified hard-working people and he is saying we need to hire people. Another asked about the Loan forgiveness program going away that they have already been approved. He said "I wouldn't worry about it that it probably won't go away", of course, it will go away, with the swipe of a sharpie. another asked about the new voting laws that you had to show a birth certificate with your legal name, married women changed their names to their husbands and don't have these birth certificates and what will be done about that? he said he hadn't heard anything about that. I honestly think he is in over his head with this district. There are so many people and so many things that need attention and he doesn't know how to handle them. we need to demand in-person meetings and be able to voice all of our concerns with followup questions to his answers, applause, etc. The phone call thing doesn't work.

I was called, at random, to join the townhall and got in. So far, I haven't heard Kevin share anything of substance. He continues to cite what he's done previously but I do not see him as an advocate to address our current trajectory. If anything, it seems he's in denial of our economy collapsing and the fact his constituents are negatively impacted by this administration and DOGE actions. Such a shame! I know how I'll be voting

CBS 13 - Were you able to dial in? Will you be posting audio of the meeting and questions? This is for Kevin - Really Kevin? You must have (1) set a small limit for calls and (2) have packed the session with your supporters. Oh Kev, you know this will hit the airwaves soon. You'll be looking worse for this as opposed to just not scheduling a meeting in the first place. Seriously, we demand MORE from our elected officials. If you are not even willing to face your constituents and listen to us, RESIGN !! Ok... I feel better now.

It would be much better to hold a meeting in person. Why are we doing this online? Big district? Hold a few meetings in various places. That's part of the job.
Lots of obfuscation and misinformation from Rep. Kiley. One example: He said Google will show California has the highest poverty rate in the US. Google says there are nine states with higher poverty rates. Did not answer the question about oil and pharma subsidies.
