FULL RACE FLATHEAD 6 UPDATE

Supercharger will have to sit on the shelf a little longer .Have just put on a set of twin carbys , very happy with them , running sweet .

In the early 60s, my Dad raced a 48 flathead v6 in a Merc at Hickory Motor Speedway in NC. Straight pipes on each cylinder and firing 32 degrees before top dead center.

These old flat top 6's are such a vibe with that bright orange block.
Why not get custom manifolds made for it? That 90° angle surely doesn't help with flow at all.
