we have found some times that you just need one round bale in the barn at a time. And if you roll it out just right you can get it exactly where you want and if you're putting them in a stall it's easier to do by picking up in the back of the truck and then rolling it off. so here is the process of picking up a round bale from my local farmer. The hay is grown less than 10 miles away from my house and the fields are beautiful and not treated with pesticides. you do get a little bit of loss from a round bale that is not kept in the barn and then you can see at the end this one had a little bit of nasty. But we end up pulling off all the extra can you stay and using it for erosion control. matter of fact Coastal hay will actually regrow Coastal grass anywhere where it is scattered with a little bit of water.
