I admire the guy that turned his life around, I did the same thing, my license were suspended for 30 years, I’ve been in prison 4 times, and I’m a recovering alcoholic and addict, I’m 51 now, I’ve been in trouble and had contact with law enforcement up til I was 35 or 36 years old, and I just stopped and wanted better for myself and my family, not I have license I got back in November 2023, I drive a 2018 Chevy Silverado, and life is so much better and easier. Props to anyone who turns their life around.

it's wierd how when you don't do illegal things, you don't get in trouble with the law and you can live a significantly more peaceful life and have the things you want .

So, my dad did over 30 years in law enforcement. A few years with the Panama City Police, a few with Bay County Sheriff's Office and 26 with the Florida Highway Patrol. He had a friend of his riding with him in Jacksonville Florida, Fred Ames, he was an auxiliary trooper. Dad pulled over this dude on a motorcycle on Beach Blvd and the guy had a good looking girl riding with him. They were speeding. Dad and Fred walked up to the bike and the guy asked my dad why he pulled him over. Fred says, 'we just wanted to look at her tits'. My dad almost fainted on the spot, imagining all the crap he was going to have to deal with over this stop. The couple and Fred started laughing their butt off. Turns out Fred knew them and was good friends with them. lolol, and was pranking my dad. RIP dad, and you too Fred.
