Όπως αναφέρουν δημοσιεύματα σε ελληνικά μέσα ενημέρωσης, τα οποία βασίζονται σε πληροφορίες από το ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ και το ρωσικό πρακτορείο ΤASS, ο Ρώσος υπουργός Εξωτερικών, Σεργκέι Λαβρόφ, κατά τη διάρκεια της ετήσιας συνέντευξης τύπου, είπε ότι:
"Η Ρωσία έχει πολύ θερμές, στενές σχέσεις και πνευματικούς δεσμούς με την Ελλάδα και την Κύπρο."
και συνέχισε κάνοντας ιδιαίτερη αναφορά στην επέκταση των Ελληνικών χωρικών υδάτων, λέγοντας ότι από τη Σύμβαση του 1982 για το Δίκαιο της Θάλασσας απορρέει ότι κάθε κράτος έχει το δικαίωμα να τα καθορίσει έως και 12 μίλια.

According to reports in the Greek media, which are based on information from AMNA and the Russian agency TASS, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during the annual press conference, said that:
"Russia has very warm, close relations and spiritual ties with Greece and Cyprus."
and went on to make particular reference to the expansion of Greek territorial waters, saying that the 1982 Convention on the Law of the Sea stipulates that every state has the right to define them up to 12 miles.

Δεν ειμαι hater . Νομιζω το εκανες απο λαθος, γιατι καποιες φορες βλεπουμε αυτο που μας συμφερει . Ο Ρώσος εδω λεει οτι εχει δικιο η Τουρκία .
