Ancient Floating City Built By Giants - Nan Madol

In the middle of the endless expanse of the Pacific Ocean in Micronesia, there lies a megalithic site as inexplicable and mysterious as any on earth, a site that has been a breeding ground of legends and secrets for centuries. And yet, despite its status as “one of the most enigmatic and unique ancient sites in the world,” most people have probably never heard the name – Nan Madol. There is perhaps a good reason for this… The Micronesian island of Pohnpei is truly in the middle of nowhere. Off its shores to the east lie more than 5,000 miles of open ocean until you hit California, while to the west, another 2,500 miles of ocean to Manila in the Philippines. In the shallow waters off its eastern shores stands an unfathomable stone complex – 92 artificial islets built on top of a coral reef over an area a mile long, all linked by an elaborate network of stone-lined canals. These stone canals give the place its name – Nan Madol, which translates to “within the intervals.”

Nan Madol was built over 11, 000 years ago when the oceans were around 300-400 ft lower than they are today. It did not have water in it. it was on the coast at that time. People need to wake up.

I'm from pohnpei where this site is located and I don't know about inhospitable terrains like you keep saying lol. There are no venomous or dangerous land animals and there's plenty of food that we plant ourselves. The site itself is also pretty impressive to see and visit. There are definitely legends and stories that are passed down through the generations that seem far-fetched and i have heard both versions. One is that giants built it, and the other is that they were floated and stacked up with black magic. One can only imagine how it was really built

It always annoys me when people of our past are described as "primitive" when they clearly had advanced technology that we have no explanation for, or in some cases that our modern day machinery can't even achieve. We could learn so much from them. Thank you for your content, it's always educational, enjoyed and appreciated ☺️

Hmmm. I have been there and received a tour by the individual (an island native) who guided archeology expeditions, to this site, in the 1990s. I am a geologist and scuba diver. I personally explored this hard to reach area. In this video, the status of the basalt columns used in construction of the site appears to be misrepresented. For example, the columns were not cut. The columns break and crack into various lengths when the basaltic lava cools. The basalt was transported to the site by raft. I would take this video with a cup of salt.

There's more history to the human race than just the 2000 year's recorded keep up the good work

The existence in itself of these megalithic structures is evidence that ancient civilizations had technology that was more advanced than our modern technology is in many ways.

This is a fascinating episode. I know Nan Madol from the work of Graham Hancock, Hugh Newman and Andrew Collins. Many of the details you've presented here go way beyond what I've heard before. I hope they are accurate. Thanks for all your hard work and skills. Appreciate

Have a feeling Nan Madol existed before the Younger Dryas like most of archaeological sites across the globe

Michael Tellinger has a YT vid where he talks about how aerial views of some ancient sites reveal that the buildings below are arranged just like computer chips. He thinks that some of these sites were used to generate power rather than just to be obelisks or temples for the sake of beauty, although they ARE also beautiful. My jaw dropped as I listened to him talk about it because I could see what he meant. It was something I wouldn't have thought of.

From a biography of Johan Kubary: "With little income and no employment, John Kubary moved to Japan in 1882. For four months he worked at the Museums of Yokohama and Tokyo. Kubary returned to Ponape and continued topographical, geographical and geological surveys of the islands. In 1885 he was employed as an interpreter in Oceanic languages by the visiting German warship Albatros and later took charge of the German consul’s plantation on the island of Matupi in New Britain. Eighteen months later Kubary was working as the manager of a trading station and plantation in New Guinea. He remained in New Guinea for much of his remaining life. A monument was erected in Ponape in his honour by German scientists in c1901."

Nan Madol, along with a few others, like Puma Punku & Gornaya Shoria for example --- I was made aware of their existence by watching Ancient Aliens. I consider myself somewhat of a bookworm & yet I haven't heard of such places before. They should be more well-known, their construction alone is a feat of engineering (to say the least) & yet not too many people have heard of them. Coincidence? Nope, I believe it's by design. The authorities would very much prefer the public knows nothing about them to avoid having to answer questions for which the so-called 'experts' themselves don't have the answers for.
I can sympathize with them. They've already got their hands full pertaining to the construction of the Giza Pyramids --- last thing they need are more prehistoric sites with even bigger mysteries & questions surrounding their construction 🤣

The Book of Giants (The Catholic Jesuits version I highly recommend reading) tells us that the 2 hybrid sons of the fallen Watcher Baraqauel (I think it was that one, it might have been Samyaza) but in any case the 2 hybrid sons of the fallen Watcher angel were Naga (part snake and part human) and they were also giants and AQUATIC and they built Nan Midol. They could live in both the upper world and also under water and they built this city half underwater on purpose, although it wasn't always so covered wi8th water. I wonder what kind of strange and crazy scary things are down in the rooms and places under that water. Lots of treasures maybe, but super Scary!

Very interesting. Ancient Hawaiian knowledge speaks of the same thing! We have a book called "Tales of the night rainbow" that speaks of a sort of "levitation" through understanding your purpose of using the rock, then "asking permission FROM the rock" to move it...then moving the rock will be an easy task, for tge rock will not move if it doesnt want to, this is ancient knowledge, it and understanding of the world they lived in💯

My mom learned about Ponape from someone who immigrated to the US from there, got citizenship, and was one of her coworkers at the post office.
He told her about Nan Madol, so she went looking and actually found a book about it. It's somewhere in the library I inherited from her.

Went to nan madol last year and there were SUPER OBVIOUS signs that it was constructed by giants from the huge war clubs engraved in the rocks the giant footprints and handprints everything.
