as it is written, “THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE; (Romans 3:10) Indeed, there is not a righteous man on earth who continually does good and who never sins. (Ecclesiasties 7:20) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23) Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these,...those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21) He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, (Proverbs 28:26) And Jesus said to him, “‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ “This is the great and foremost commandment. “And the second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ “On these two commandments hang the whole Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40) Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory. (Isaiah 6:3) but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your conduct; because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY." (1 Peter 1:15-16) the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts throughout their lives. Afterwards they go to the dead. (Ecclesiasties 9:3) your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. (Isaiah 59:2) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, (Romans 1:18) But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23) For God has not appointed us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, (1 Thessalonians 5:9) And He died for all, so that they who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf. (2 Corinthians 5:15) For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, so that He might bring you to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit; (1 Peter 3:18) For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all, but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. (Romans 6:10-11) Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. (James 4:10) The LORD is near to the brokenhearted, And saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) For godly sorrow produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world brings about death. (2 Corinthians 7:10) For I confess my iniquity; I am full of anxiety because of my sin. (Psalm 38:18) He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our peace fell upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. (Isaiah 53:5-6) And Jesus summoned the crowd with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. “For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? “For what will a man give in exchange for his soul? “For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” (Mark 8:34-38) “Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; (Acts 3:19) But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.” Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. (James 4:6-8)
