I mean, Buck definitely had a crush for Eddie when he entered 118, that Christmas episode with them taking Chris to Santa where the lady said they had a cute son, or in the episode where that one girl who was on live was squeezing a pimple, the comments went from “those firefighters are cute” to “those firefighters are cute together”, one of my favorite scenes

I feel that's how you gotta do it best. Not that there werent signs ("boy crush", TK saying "I have a boyfriend", learning the meaning of love by meeting queer old men - my personal cutest favorite) but even if you didnt see those it will never feel out of the blue bc even if you didnt know, you knew something was missing and it isnt anymore

I absolutely love that they decided to make Buck explore his sexuality and come up to his true self and not just make him fall in love with Eddie.
I don't know if they actually make them a pair but I hope to be done steadily after a season or 2.

The season 2 buddie teasing was actually insane and I can’t believe people had the nerve to “not see it” 😂 because why were they going to cut from Buck or Eddie having issues in their relationship, or feeling lonely, or wtvr, then cut to Buck and Eddie together, talking, and having fun. It was very intentional, until that even witch director came alone in the mid-seasons and intentionally separated the characters because she wasn’t a buddie fan.
