Life too short for long YouTube videos? Please see the ‘Interesting bits and go-to sections’ information below.

We had the great opportunity to visit the USA in October 2017. While en route to Riff City Guitar in New Hope, Minnesota, we stopped via Bethel, Connecticut to meet one of the boutique effects world’s true pioneers: Mike Piera, aka Analog Man!
Mike was kind enough to show us around his awesome collection of old stuff before taking a brief look at the production side of Analog Man. It’s a very small company of skilled and dedicated staff making exceptional quality analogue effects boxes that draw from, evolve, and indeed greatly surpass many vintage classic designs.
This is Part 1 of our experience, that includes a very quick flick through some Analog Man core pedals. In Part 2 we will dive deeper into Mike’s incredible world of Sun Face Fuzz pedals to see what we can learn.
In the meantime, please enjoy the video…

In addition, our preferred exclusive retailers in the UK & Europe, USA and Australia may have stocks of certain product lines.

Pedals in this episode…
• Analog Man Envelope Filter

Can't spell AnalogMan without Anal.  Talk about a well organized and well run business.  It's refreshing to see someone that cares this much about what he does and takes so much pride in it.

People who got on the list after seeing this episode have not yet made it to the top of the list for KoT :)

It's so nice to see Dan wearing a Keeley shirt while Mike is wearing his Analogman shirt. I can't imagen someone visiting the Gibson factory wearing a Fender shirt.

At some point, Mike needs to open a museum!

I also love how Mike closed his eyes while answering some of the questions. You could see his mind sorting through years of information and experiences. What a treasure of knowledge!

Last summer I stopped in to visit the crew a while and was warmly received. Purchased the in store demo KOT (no long waiting period), and I've been thrilled with it ever since. Got a complimentary AM tie dye tee in blue just like Mike's, Dan's right, AM is a totally tripped out spot on our planet. Vortex of happiness. Everything's Hand Made, one at a time. Just the best. Thanks Guys !

What a lovely Pedal Show. How can you not love Mike when one of his first comments is about Chris Squire- 'Rest In Peace' with gentle warmth and sincerity. What a great story and what a fascinating person in his genuine humility for such incredible skill, vision and the joy and inspiration he has given while treating weekend warriors with the same respect as legends. I agree, his email replies have always been respectful, honest and as prompt as his precious time allows. Great show guys and long may Analogman's song go on.

I love the work Mike does, and the pedals he built for Trey Anastasio have been such a huge part of his sound. I thank him for that!!

There's something quite special about seeing dedicated focus paired with zero arrogance, resulting in a first class product in a very honest setting. Hats off to Mike and The AnalogMan Team.

Mike Piera is a living legend. The man’s at the top of the game and rightfully so. I’ve played his pedals for about 20 years now and I have yet to play a bad one. Can’t say that for every company or builder. Long live the Analogone!

I got on the KOT wait list after watching That Pedal Show. I can’t wait to get the pedal. Great to see behind the scenes and hear from the actual “Analog Man”.

When I got my King of Tone, I stopped searching for overdrives. For a while that is. 5 years later, I still haven't tried an overdrive that is better to my ears. Like Queen, It's a kind of magic.

I’m re-watching this 4+ years after this was originally released, having just received my wonderful King of Tone after waiting 4 years on the waiting list, while also feeling a little nostalgic and sad with how much the world has changed since with COVID-19, masks, distancing, travel, etc.
